OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

What is the likeliness I have tss?

I'm worried I might develop tss I left a tampon in for 8 hrs and 15 minutes. I had been so busy. Will I be fine or will I need to go to the doctor? I really I only feel dizzy when I lay down, when I'm on my side or if I move too much.

Usually, TSS is seen when a tampon is left in the body for an extended period of time or more than 8 hours. Is it possible for TTS to be a concern, certainly but not likely. However, for an abundance of caution, proceed to the ER to be evaluated and more so, make an appointment to visit with your physician for close monitoring and management. Hoping this was helpful.
TSS (Toxic shock syndrome) common symptoms are high fever, rash, and skin peeling. Low blood pressure occurs in the setting of the other symptoms. You seem to be fine. See your primary care doctor if are still feeling dizzy to explore other causes of dizziness.
Take care and stay safe!
TSS is incredibly unlikely to develop based on that time interval, if you have symptoms you should seek evaluation but in most cases that will not lead to TSS.
