I want to get partial dentures. What is the most comfortable type of partial denture?

depends on how your ridge and teeth are and how many teeth you have left, and which teeth are left. Generally a high quality Metal frame work, they can be made esthetic. One can also in some cases use implants to snap the partial too.
Its not really about comfort, more about functionality and how many teeth are being replaced. If only a few teeth are being replaced, then a flexible partial may be most comfortable. Dr. Totonchi
