What is wrong with my tongue

I have a a fungus on my tongue. I was told it might be thrush. It’s like a light yellow pus if I use the tongue scraper in the back of my tongue it’s PUS and little round balls. It’s bleeding sometimes. The rinse for my mouth.did nothing (nystatin 100,000)swish5ml’s every 6hrs. It’s still here. What’s up. I think it’s cancer. That’s a medicine for cancer. Tell me where to go for a throat and tongue culture or byopsie. Has been going on way to long.

Sorry to hear this Ma’am. You should contact an Oral Surgeon. They will be able to make a diagnosis and provide you with the best treatment for your symptoms. They will also have to necessary tools to determine if there is a cancerous lesion. Best of luck
Do not assume or self diagnose that you have cancer before having a thorough exam/evaluation by a qualified dentist/doctor. Cancer diagnosis requires a thorough examination and biopsy most times in order to reach a definitive diagnosis. Please see a medical professional immediately.
I'd recommend you see an Oral Surgeon or ENT physician for their opinion. It sounds rather serious. Michael Frith DDS
Good morning. It will be difficult to diagnose what is going without seeing your tongue physically. It will good to schedule an appointment for me to take a look at it.Thank you.
If it is not responding to Nystatin (which is an anti fungal drug), you
should see an oral surgeon immediately.

I would recommend you talk to your dentist, and ask if he/she can refer you to a specialist. Or you could go to an oral pathologist, if you can’t find one, go to an oral surgeon, or a head and neck surgeon, for an exam to see what it could be.
