What is wrong with the bulging veins in my ankles and feet?

I'm a healthy, fit, 31 year old male. Every vein in my legs, ankles and feet have been inflamed and increasingly worse engorgement over the past two months. I also have pulling pain in my calves, tingling in ankles and feet, and pain by veins. Blood tests, bilateral ultrasound, EKG, and chest x-ray all came back clean. My PCP (doctor) says it's nothing to worry about and to wear compression stockings, but this vein engorgement cannot be normal for my age, right?

Distended veins and discomfort can be signs of venous insufficiency. You should be seen by a specialist
Looks pretty normal to me.
Bulging veins when associated with pain in the area are almost always associated with venous insufficiency and venous hypertension. It is a good idea to get checked by a vein specialist and they may very well recommend compression stockings for you after properly measuring your legs for correct sizing.
Venous insufficiency can be treated and should be treated if symptoms are severe or interfere with acts of daily living or work related activities. If untreated this condition can be progressive and can cause skin discoloration or even breakdown. Occasionally normal veins may appear bulgy in skinny individuals but they never cause pain.
