I am 8 months pregnant. I am afraid of delivery pain. What kind of anesthesia is used for delivery?

Labor pain can be reduced with a number of techniques. The most common method is having a labor epidural. Some facilities will place a spinal anesthetic and some facilities have even used nitrous gas.
Delivery anesthesia depends on circumstances. A Neuro axial block such as epidural anesthesia is the most common. A Spinal anesthetic is common for C- section .
