I tell my patients that they can return to full activity and lifestyle. Moderation with everything including diet , daily exercise and continue with medications if prescribed with timely MD followups
Improve all your risk factors: Diet, exercise, cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, etc.
You probably have atherosclerosis if you had bypass surgery. I recommend cardiac rehabilitation to get in the habit of regular excise. You should continue this regular exercise, take a statin-class medication and any others like aspirin if prescribed, make sure that your blood pressure is controlled, and watch your diet (preferably switching to a Mediterranean diet).
