High blood pressure can be treated using massage, acupuncture and herbs. We use these modalities to harmonize and and treat high blood pressure, stress, etc.
Allopathic medication is outside my scope of practice. You'll need to get a prescription from your primary care doctor. This one is an important one not to ignore. High blood pressure is called the silent killer for a reason.
You can drink chrysanthemum tea, hawthorn tea, sophora japonica tea, etc. These tea really can help with high blood pressure.
see your PCP,
It depends on many factors such as age, cholesterol and other risk factors
So if there’s no predisposing high blood sugar levels or cholesterol or fluid retention you have several choices
Also you might have to consider insurance coverage as well
But Ace inhibitions they might be a good choice covering some border line risk factors
As well as insurance coverage
Dear friend there are MANY medications that we use to help high blood pressure, but there are MANY natural remedies that do not need a prescription. Dr. Livinggood - has a web sight and books on that. Also Dr. David Brownstein, MD has a book called, "SALT your way to Health" that has some wonderful information. Your doctor will have many pharmaceuticals that help as well. Blessings!! Dr. B
There are at least 4 classes of drug with multiple individual meds in each class that could potentially reduce blood pressure. The trick is finding the one that works the best for you and your circumstances.

This is something that you need to work out with your primary care provider.
It's best to consult with your doctor about this and let them choose the best medication for you. A full workup is usually indicated before medication choices are considered.
