The best way to recommend the proper pillow is to come to the clinic and try one of our orthopedic pillows.
Look up cervical pillows
One that supports the proper c-shape of your neck. Typically back sleeping with correct cervical pillow will do wonders. Some may be a bit sore or have difficulty with back sleeping, a pillow under the knees and on each side of the body between arm and side can help you from rolling and unwanted lower back pain. Have your chiropractor recommend the right one for you.
I will typically recommend pillows based upon each patients individual needs and if a patient is typically a side or back sleeper. Side sleepers need a pillow that will fill the entire distance from the bed to the side of the head so that the head and neck are not tipped up nor down. Back sleepers needs pillow appropriated sized for good support under the curve of the neck so that the chin does not pitch up nor down and the face is neutral relative to the shoulders.
Pillows are tricky. I use and sell a water pillow that you can fill to your liking.
Whatever you like. Just keep your spine straight.
Water pillows. The top is all soft like a pillow but the pillow you fill with water to your comfort level. This way it is always forming to you and supporting your head and neck no matter what position you lay in.

I personally like the pillow-pedic pillow. It enables you to lay on your back or side and supports the curve in your neck.
I like the MyPillow the best but I find different patients like different pillows.

There are different pillows that are good for different types of patients. The best pillow for your will depend on your spinal curvature, your usual sleep positions, and your preference of firmness, etc. There is no single pillow that is good for everyone.
