Discuss with Surgeion, it depends on what happened during the procedure.
I definitely recommend you follow the exact post-procedure recommendation given to you by the doctor after your procedure. But for the most part, you should not eat immediately after your colonoscopy procedure. Starts with very light meals slowly adding more. You need someone to drive you home. Keep yourself hydrated. most importantly, If you do have severe abdominal pain, fever, or blood in the stool after the procedure you should immediately contact your doctor. I usually recommend nothing in the vagina for 2weeks. Otherwise it’s
business as usual.
