“What should you not do after anesthesia?”
I am a 40 year old male. I want to know what should you not do after anesthesia?

After receiving general anesthesia, one should not eat a large meal, and not drive anywhere except as a passenger, and not make any major financial or marital decisions in the following 24 hours.
You should not drive, operate heavy equipment, or make significant life decisions for 24 hours after anesthesia.
Although you will get a list more specific to your procedure, some general guidelines for that day are: no driving. No making major financial decisions. “Do not operate heavy equipment” is my favorite, so please don’t use your earth mover.
