laparoscopic or robotic hiatal hernia repair with fundoplication
Laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair is always the best option. Depending on your symptoms the surgeon would recommend, or not, another part of the operation, like a laparoscopic fundoplication, or transoral incisionless fundoplication, or a gastropexy. Remember, not all hiatal hernias need repair.
