I have anxiety and want to take medications. What time of day is best to take anxiety medication?

It depends on whether your medication is to prevent it or to treat it on a "PRN" basis, or pro re nata--"take as needed." Your psychiatrist or doctor will have written the instructions on your bottle. Take as prescribed.

Hi there, this depends heavily on the type of medication and how quickly it starts to work in your body. Some medications are taken daily as maintenance therapy, others can be taken as soon as you start to feel anxious, called “as needed” anxiety medications
