What type of anesthesia is used for liposuction?

I am a 35 year old female. I want to know what type of anesthesia is used for liposuction?

Best bet is to ask your surgeon.

Depends if it’s done in a hospital/ surgery center or in a spa setting. General anesthesia is commonly used. The procedure can result in significant blood loss. Local anesthesia is use in the clinic or spa setting. Some new spa equipment requires no anesthesia.
Lipo could be done with monitored anesthesia care (MAC) or general anesthesia (GA).
