I will have scoliosis surgery. What type of sedation is given for scoliosis surgery?

Hi. You will need general anesthesia for this type of surgery. You will likely have to be positioned on your belly and since their working in such a sensitive area, best for you to be under general so you don’t move and risk injury. Best of luck to you!!!
