The pulmonic needs a little more work. Usually depends on the experience of the surgeon
In general a mitral valve is harder to replace than an aortic valve. There are many other factors that contribute to these relative difficulty of the operation such as size of patient, any scarring from previous operations size of heart etc.
Generally speaking mitral valve is the most difficult to replace.
The difficulty of replacing a heart valve depends on the underlying cause for malfunction and diagnosis. All valves are easy to replace by expert valve surgeons.
Probably the mitral valve because of its posterior location, but there are approaches to make it easy.
Mitral valve is the toughest to reach, thus the hardest.
With an experienced surgeon, there is no difficulty performing valve surgery.
