Healthy gum tissue next to the teeth should be a pale pink color. Red tissue could be an indication of inflammation or infection. Your dentist should look at your gums to give you a diagnosis.
You may be experiencing Gingivitis, or Periodontal Disease. Gingivitis is most common. However, Periodontal Disease is more serious.
