“Why are the nerves in my arm tingling?”
The nerves in my arm are tingling. What could be the cause? Should I see a doctor?

There could be several reasons for what you are experiencing. It will be a wise decision to see a doctor and assess in detail what may be going on.
Neuropathy (Diabetic, auto-immune, etc), nerve compression at elbow or wrist , or compression of the nerve in the spine canal or opening nerve window leaving the spinal canal ( Neuro- foramen). A medical neurologist can help determine the problem
The tingling sensation can be caused by a pinched nerve anywhere from the wrist to the neck. If it were just one side then a problem in the brain would also be possible. The most common cause is a pinched nerve in the wrist ( carpal tunnel syndrome). It could also be at the elbow and it could be at the neck. If it’s at the wrist and severe, then it eventually can cause the hand to become weak. So yes, see your family doctor.
