“Why do my back hurts worse after the chiropractor?”
After chiropractic adjustment for back pain it hurts more. Is it normal?

It is not normal. It means that approach is not the best approach for you.
No it is not normal to hurt more after a Chiropractic Adjustment. In my experience, this is very unusual. Patients usually always feel better with back pain after a Chiropractic Adjustment.
It really depends on how inflamed the area is before the adjustment is made and how long it has been since last adjustment. It is not uncommon to be sore after an aggressive adjustment or after an adjustment to a really inflamed area. The adjustments should not be painful usually after the first 2-3 adjustments unless there is unusual circumstances. You may want to try a different Chiropractor if the one treating you now isnt helping.
