Colic is a condition where babies having crying spells, there is no definite cause for it, if there is a cause, it is not Colic. The good news is that Colic resolves itself in a few weeks, it is very unsettling to the parents to see the baby crying every night, but there is an end to it.
Hello,

Colic is a normal baby thing. Babies get colic, but it’s also important to make sure it’s not something else. Most babies will outgrow it with time. To make sure it’s not something else, please talk to your pediatrician and get baby examined.
Late afternoons and through the wee hours of the morning are typical so it's important to have back-up so you can get your rest!
