I am a 39 year old female. My niece was diagnosed with leukemia and it's very sad. I want to know why is leukemia happening to children?

Leukemia happens to children and adults. It is an unfortunate occurrence and in children may be related to their genetic makeup, a gene that was incorrectly copied at the time of birth. Children may be cured of leukemia if treated at a cancer center.
