I will have ankle replacement surgery. Will I be able to run after ankle replacement surgery?

In most cases if someone is a heavy runner, I personally would recommend a ankle fusion not an ankle replacement.

This is a very complex question. Please seek advice from a Surgeon that do this type of surgery.
It is not recommended to perform high-impact activity on an artificial joint. It will wear out the joint.
