Will I grow more?

I am currently 17 year old female. I'm 5'6 and I'm worried about my height not sure if I'm overreacting or just inpatient. Will I still be able to grow more?

The easiest way to tell is knowing your age at the start of menstruation. Almost all young girls will reach final adult height, 2 1/2 to 3 years after their first period.

As a general rule once a female gets her period she cannot expect to grow much more than an inch or 2 in height
It is unlikely you will grow more if you have had your period for more than 2 years. Onset of menses signals maturation of the person into adult life. Once you have had menses for about 2 years, it is unlikely you will grow any more. There is a simple way to know definitely if you will grow and that is to perform an X-ray known as a bone age. In this X-ray, the hand is X-rayed and a radiologist compares your bones in the hand to a set of standard hand X-rays, and can determine if you are fully mature or not. Consider having this simple test done
