Will a breast x-ray spot any tumors?

They scanned my breast when I went in to see the doctor. Will this detect tumors? What else will it detect if not tumors?

Mammogram can detect cancer and benign tumor except very dense breast. MRI breast will be better for this situation
In order to render the most accurate response to your question, specific  information regarding the type of breast imaging utilized will be necessary. Usually, the breast is imaged with a mammogram. Your question stem describes a "breast X-ray." Did you undergo a mammogram?

Yes, it is called a mammogram. There are different kinds of mammograms, but they still miss about 10% of cancers.
