My dog dislocated his leg. Will the dog's dislocated leg heal itself?

If truly dislocated and put in it's place, the dog's leg can heal on it's own. However, an underlying cause for the dislocation is possible and would warrant treatment to prevent dislocation from happening again. I would recommend diagnostic imaging at your primary care doctor to ensure there isn't any underlying lesion or damage.
