“Will tooth sensitivity go away after a root canal?”
I will have a root canal. Will tooth sensitivity go away after a root canal?

Root canal procedures remove the central nerve from the tooth, but tiny accessory canals may still house some nerve tissue. You may still have some cold sensitivity. Hopefully, though, the procedure took care of any pain you were having. Lingering discomfort immediately after the procedure is expected. If you still need pain meds 3 days after the procedure, contact your dentist. Hope this helps. Mary Swift DDSDallas Laser Dentistrywww.dallascosmeticdentist.us
