“About my two sons with DMD?”
My two sons are suffering the DMD and I have all their medical reports. I need help as both need scoliosis surgeries, and I do not want to lose them. I need to travel to one place to help them. The younger one, specifically, has curve in his back that is affecting his breathing. Please help, my sons are 25 and 20.

Sounds like they need to see a scoliosis specialist at Baylor Dallas; I recommend Dr. Hostin or Dr. Avramis. I hope they get the help they need and soon.

You need to find an adult deformity spine surgeon in your area to evaluate your son's. This doctor is sometimes an orthopedic surgeon and sometimes a neurosurgeon. Either is fine as long as they have extensive experience in treating adults with scoliosis. I would bring all of their medical records to that appointment with that surgeon. If you are near a city that has universities, they usually have these type of doctors working at their university hospitals.
