Are dental implants removable?

I am a 55 year old female. I will be getting four dental implants put in. Are dental implants removable?

They are removable if they had to be removed but is very extensive procedure which I would not recommend unless there was problems with them
No they are fixed.
No, they stay within the bone, like the roots of your teeth.
Hi there,

Dental implants replace the roots of your teeth and they fuse to your bone therefore they are not removable, they are permanent.
However the teeth that are placed on top of those four dental implants are more likely removable.

No.
No, implants aren’t removable but dentures attached can be removable.
No they are meant to be permanent.
Hi Happy New Year! The implant itself, which is the portion introduced into the bone when successful is not removable.
Dental implants themselves are not removable without very involved surgery. However, the prosthesis that is screwed into the implant can be either removable by the patient or only removable by the dentist.

No, dental implants are not typically removable. They can technically be surgically removed but they are not designed to be removed.

No dental implants are permanent. Although if you put dentures over implants, those dentures are removable.
No they are not the prosthesis is.
Dental implants, the body of the implants are fixed in the bone, so once integrated, they are not removable. The outside part, so called abutment, is usually connected to the implant via screws. So the abutments are also not removable. However, the crowns, dentures, bridges, hybrid dentures could either be fixed or removable depending on the design.
Implants are not intended to be removed. However some never properly oestointrigrate, and come out, and a doctor could remove them is medically necessary.
