Naturopathic Physician Questions Contraceptives

Are there any natural contraceptives?

I don’t want to take contraceptives, mainly because of the side effects. Are there any natural contraceptives that I can opt for instead?

None are as effective as condoms used properly.
No.
No, there are no natural contraceptives. The interruption of hormonal stimulation is only achieved by chemical methods. Natural treatments are to balance the biological and physiological functions; interrupting a hormonal cycle is not natural, and for that reason, there is no treatment like such.
Yes. If you can be patient and consistent, the rhythm method works well. There is a device called a LadyComp that can help make this method easier. I have a patient that wanted to get off her hormonal birth control; she opted to use the LadyComp and she loves it.
