“Is reflexology better than a massage?”
There's a reflexology place by me, and I'm thinking about getting it for my feet. Is this a better therapy than a regular foot massage? How does it differ?

Not necessarily better, just different By releasing the points affiliated with the various parts of the body allows for release of pain in each area. With a massage, it’s a more spa-like experience: you are lieing down, not holding your body up, or shifting in a chair; there may be softened lighting, soft music, perhaps aromatherapy oils or candles.
Best way to find out if it is better for you is to try it out. Reflexology is a specific type of massage and the therapist is trained in depth in the areas of feet and hands and does more for you than just rubbing the hands and feet on a regular type technique or techniques used in any other type of massage.
It’s not better, it’s just a different technique. It’s still in a massage category, does a subcategory, and it works better for some people or they just like the experience more, but one is not better than the other.
Reflexology activates the organ reflexes in your body, foot massage is more relaxing. Try the reflexology, it's very nice.
It depends on what you are trying to address. For moving lymphatic fluid and increasing blood circulation that has pooled around the lower extremities a Certified Reflexologist can provide better results.
