“Can ayurveda treatment help in dissolving kidney stones?”
My son is 22 years old and has been diagnosed with kidney stones. Can I try ayurveda treatment for him? Will it help in dissolving his kidney stones?

For a small stone not associated with severe pain or infection, it may help. Also, increased water intake may help a small stone to pass. Increased water intake prevents stone formation.
I am not aware of any studies that show this will help.
Very few stones can be dissolved, only about 10%. Most stones need to be treated or else they will cause a lot of pain. My recommendation is to see a good urologist who can help you with the options in regards to taking care of the stone.
