“How soon after a c-section is it advisable to walk up the stairs?”
After a c-section surgery how soon is it advisable to start going up the stairs? My sister is getting a C-section and she is hearing 2 different things from 2 different surgeons.

Discuss with OB-GYN who performed C-section.
It is never the same from person to person. You need to ask your doctor what to do.
I would tell her that she can walk up stairs whenever she feels comfortable. That is what I tell patients after any abdominal surgery. I wouldn't recommend strenuous activity or heavy lifting (>20 lbs), but things like walking upstairs, getting in and out of a car, and getting in and out of bed are fine.
