I am a mother of two children. I was wondering if a child can go to school with Mono?

Yes, children can go to school with mono. They should be cautioned against sharing drinks and drinking from the water fountain. Mono is extremely varied in its presentation. Some kids may have severe fatigue and need to sleep. They should return to school as soon as they are able, and may need to attend for half days for a few days until their endurance builds up. Kids in pain should stay home until they feel up to attending.
