My son got his chickenpox vaccine a week ago. Can a vaccinated child get chicken pox?

No vaccine is 100% effective. Yes you can get any disease to which you gave been vaccinated. However the likelihood is far less if you were vaccinated. The more people in a community that have been vaccinated, the less likely anyone will get that disease.
