Can a pinched nerve cause pain in your hand?

I am a 37 year old male. I have very odd pain in my hand at night. I wonder if a pinched nerve can cause pain in your hand?

Yes
It sounds like you should be evaluated by a Board-Certified Fellowship-Trained Hand surgeon.
I'd be happy to see you.

Absolutely. Many patients with carpal tunnel syndrome which is the most common Compression neuropathy in the upper extremity suffer from pain in the hand, mainly in the thumb index long and ring finger. This pain is usually worse at night when people sleep. It can often happen when they talk on the phone or comb their hair, etc.
Good question, this could be a result of something peripheral such as carpel tunnel syndrome or spinal compression. Reasonable to get check out if this persists.
It can. However, that would be unusual. At age 37 your nighttime symptoms are probably not nerve related. Consultation with a local hand surgeon would be helpful.
Yes.
If your symptoms are numbness and tingling in the fingers at night, then yes it can be a "pinched nerve." This could possibly be carpal tunnel syndrome. I recommend you see your physician or a hand specialist to be examined.
