yes, acupuncture can be done daily. in China .
Yes
Yes it is safe to do acupuncture every day if you are in need. It depends on your condition(s).
yes
Yes, acupuncture can be done 2 to 3 times daily with increased benefits.
Yes if you need it
You MIGHT find someone who suggests doing local treatments for a specific injury daily, but most of the time treatments are once or twice a week. More than that exhausts the body.
Yes it is, but in my practice I don’t do that.
Yes. Depend on situations if it’s acute.
I believe that would be a bit excessive. 1-3x a week should suffice. However, In some traditions while treating Orthopedic issues it isn't unheard of to come in daily for a short time.
It is done daily for stroke recovery in China. So yes, it can... I would unlikely choose a treatment plan for a patient that is daily, but that's just me. For me, the greatest intensity might be every 3 days for something serious.
Yes, from 30 to 45 minutes
Hello,

Acupuncture can be done daily on certain ailments like pain, stroke or bell's palsy. It all depends on your condition and how your body and body type can handle. Your acupuncturist can determine that when you are there for your first consultation and treatment.

Acupuncture can be done daily. It is safe and there are no side effects.

Yes. In fact, for some conditions, like stroke or acute disease, in China, the patient gets 2-3 treatments per day. It might make you a bit tired.

It certainly can.
Yes, we give treatment to patients every day.

Hi,

In ancient time, acupuncture was doing daily and 10 treatments were a court. It should be a problem.

Yes, acupuncture can be done daily. The flow of energy gets started with the first placement of the first needle and remains actively working for 24 hours. It could benefit certain situations to have acupuncture daily to really help the body move out of a chronic dysfunctional pattern.
It is possible to do acupuncture daily, but you wouldn't want to over do it much like getting vaccinated frequently or cleansing ever single day. In terms of maintenance daily acupuncture would be fine, especially in stroke patients, but if you were doing a strong treatment you shouldn't do it every day. Some acupuncture treatments alone can drain the body of it's energy and cause some patients to faint, especially if they had missed breakfast or a meal. Caution alone would be exercised for lethargic patients, especially due to pregnancy or menstrual cycle. Anemia or some auto-immune diseases may be enough concern to not practice daily acupuncture. Check with your primary care physician about general health and let the acupuncture provider know what you intend for your goals to set up the best treatment frequency.

Yes, no problem
Yes, however, this is mostly for high pain or long chronic cases of pain or after a trauma.
Yes, acupuncture can be done daily. When I interned in China at the PRC hospital in Nanjing we would treat the same patients 5 days a week and we got great results. The effects of acupuncture are cumulative. Depending on whether the condition is acute or chronic (more than 3 months old), as well as the type & severity of your health condition this can influence your need for how often and how many treatments you would need to make improvement.
Thank you for your question.

The simple answer is, yes, it can. But, the important question is, is it necessary? Any treatment should serve a purpose and treatment goal.

Kind regards,
B

Except for stroke or hemiplegia, I personally think it is unnecessary to get acupuncture daily.

Yes, all depends on the diagnosis from your acupuncturist.
Hello! For some patients that can afford the treatment. Typically, they are done everyday in China until you are 100% better.
No, usually depends on the conditions.
Yes it can. In fact in can be done a few times a day. In China it is done multiple times a day daily as a protocol.
Yes - though recommended every other day for Chronic and if daily usually Acute Cases
It can be but that is usually not necessary. For most conditions, weekly treatments will suffice. The only reason treatments are done more frequently than that are with acute conditions (you just twisted your ankle, you developed a sinus infection, virus, etc.). For more serious acute conditions like mono or bells palsy, you can actually receive acupuncture treatments several times per day.
Depending on the severity on the case, yes. In fact in China it is a common way to treat. But all depends on the necessity.

Be well, be confident, we can help.
Yes, acupuncture can be done daily. In most studies from China we see a course of therapy being 10 or 12 treatments delivered over the course of 10 to 12 days (one treatment per day). When I did a clinical rotation in China, some of the inpatients in the hospital were receiving acupuncture twice a day.

In the US, largely for financial reasons, we've adopted more of a weekly model. Either way can work and if your condition is fairly severe it's not uncommon for a practitioner to suggest more frequent treatment/fewer days between treatments up front.
