Yes, acupuncture can ease sinus problems, and there are many wonderful Chinese herbal formulas that do a great job, too.

Acupuncture can ease and relieve sinus problems. Through clinical experience, it takes time and consistency to heal. I’d recommend going at least once a week for a while. Perhaps work out a deal with your local acupuncturist who specializes in sinus issues. Another suggestion is to eliminate dairy and sugar from your diet, which highly aggravate congestion.
Acupuncture has a super effect on sinus conditions. So many patients were taking antibiotics for chronic sinus infection and no longer has the SX after six visits.
It can. Because we have a different understanding of the body, your sinus condition may be related to other bodily functions. Acupuncture works to correct any issues that may be causing your sinus condition, and support your entire body to prevent it from flaring again.
Yes it can and it has for many of my patients. Sometimes it only takes one needle, sometimes it takes a bit more and it can last for a long time or take a long time to complete depending on the person and situation.
Usually, yes, acupuncture can be a good treatment choice for sinus symptoms - assuming your issue is caused by allergic rhinitis or something similar. If you have a structural issue or polyps, then acupuncture is much less likely to get you the results you're looking for.
I'd suggest starting with either your primary care physician or an ENT (ear, nose, throat) specialist. Have them take a look, get some imaging done and make sure you're not dealing with something serious. If the doctors cannot find a cause or they diagnose you with allergic rhinitis, then acupuncture would be an excellent choice.
If you end up going the acupuncture route, please make sure you're seeing someone licensed as an acupuncturist in your state. If you aren't in CA, you can start with the "Find a Practitioner" lookup at NCCAOM.org.
