I am a 17 year old female. I was wondering can adolescents develop cataracts?

Yes, although it is quite rare. Usually associated with some illness or trauma or severe environmental toxic effects like radiation.

Yes, a cataract can develop at any age from trauma, inflammation, infection, medications like steroids or chemotherapy, and hereditary diseases. Not just age-related changes. Best to have an exam by an ophthalmologist.
