Can anesthesia cause lung collapse?

I am a 42 year old female. I want to know if anesthesia can cause lung collapse?

Yes, but rare.
If you are intubated, the positive press of the ventilator could rupture a lung bleb, copd, asthma, etc., can cause pneumothorax. Also, a gas we use worsen clinic, nitrous oxide. Canulation of central line can cause it, too. Atelectasia due to hipoventilation or occlusion due to mucous plug can cause also lung collapse.
