Can antibiotics cause bad gas?

I am a 34 year old female. I want to know if antibiotics can cause bad gas?

Usually not, but if antibiotics alter your gut flora is such a way as to allow gas producing bacteria to dominate in the colon, then in theory you might get more gas this way after taking antibiotics (but this has not been formally studied to my knowledge).
Yes. It's important to take probiotics.
They are useful when used for the right reason but they can have side effects.
Antibiotics can cause a change in gut bacterial flora and can cause diarrhea or Candida - not usually bad gas alone.
