Chiropractic has been an appropriate and highly effective method for relieving symptoms of neck pain. Being a specialist of the upper two bones of the neck, I would highly recommend that you seek the advice and consult of a someone who is well educated and knowledgeable about this part of your spine and body. If you come across a professional who sounds good to you, call to ask about a consultation before you sign on for evaluation and treatment.
Hello,
Yes, it certainly can help reduce the pain and discomfort; an evaluation to determine the cause is advisable.
Thank you.

Most likely, yes. Chronic neck pain is usually due to underlying structural problems caused by previous trauma, like falls, injuries, or posture. I would recommend a good chiropractic examination to get to the bottom of your problem and a plan to fix it.
Yes. It’s common practice for a Chiropractor to detect and correct the cause of the neck pain. It’s exactly what we do. Hope I helped! Got your back, Dr Todd Gewant
Chronic neck pain can develop due to a number of causes. Chiropractic care helps to realign the structure of the cervical spine (the neck) so that the vertebra are in an optimal position to create stability in the neck as well as optimal functionality of the joints and soft tissue in the neck (as well as the rest of the spine). Most often in today's society, people are looking down at their phones or computer screens for hours a day which alters the alignment of the neck over time, stressing the discs, ligaments and tendons. This is usually a gradual process that requires time to heal with chiropractic care. Each adjustment helps to correct the spinal misalignments, training the soft tissues to hold the vertebra in a more ideal position reducing the stress on the spine and the adjacent structures, therefore reducing discomfort and pain. There are also neurological components that are involved with chiropractic. When the vertebra are out of alignment it alters the communication from the brain to the body via the nerves that exit out of the spinal column. Adjustments also help to restore proper nerve function so that the brain and body can better communicate to allow your tissues to repair and heal to their best of their ability.
I hope this helps your understanding of how chiropractic can help to reduce physical stress on neck to help relieve pains well as restore neurological function.

In most cases, yes! Depending on what caused your neck pain in the first place (torticollis that went untreated for years, or trauma from a car accident, or early degeneration, or an underlying condition that exists, but you might not even know it…), a chiropractor can help you. A full exam, possibly with xrays is indicated in cases of trauma, and a full medical history is indicated for underlying conditions. Your chiropractor can help you discover the cause of your neck pain and advise you if chiropractic treatment or other types of therapy are indicated. Best of Health! Dr Armour, DC Summitcw.com
I think so. There are many possibilities that may be contributing to your neck pain. A good chiropractor would not assume a chiropractic approach is the solution until a thorough history and exam are performed. Generally, muscle tension, stress and anxiety may cause neck pain. Posture and activities of daily living need to be addressed.
