Can cryotherapy be done to relieve carpal tunnel in the wrist?

I am getting numbness and tingling most of the time. It is waking me up at night. I have a brace that I wear at night but it doesn't seem to be helping. I have had confirmation that I do have this condition.

Cryotherapy can be used to temporarily relieve symptoms. It makes no difference in resolution of the condition. Brace and anti-inflammatory medications work best prior to surgery. Carpal tunnel syndrome is more commonly seen in women, diabetics and in thyroid conditions.

Good luck,

Cryotherapy may alleviate symptoms for a short time only. Based on your reported symptoms, I would recommend surgery, i.e., Carpal tunnel release.
