Can PCOS go away?

I am a 28 year old female and I was diagnosed with PCOS. Can PCOS go away?

Usually associated with irregular menses but not always. You can control menses with things like BCP’s. It may interfere with ovulation in regard to getting pregnant. There are options in that regard
It can improve with time. Sometimes with weight loss or age, periods become more regular.
The symptoms of PCOS can resolve over time, but the diagnosis is typically the diagnosis. If you no longer experience symptoms of PCOS, you can report a history of PCOS to your providers. The most concerning issues regarding PCOS is anovulation and metabolic syndrome. These are things you want to address with your provider.
