Can tachycardia go away by itself?

I am a 58 year old female. I have tachycardia. Can tachycardia go away by itself?

The short answer is no. But tachycardia is a very generic term, I would need to know what type of tachycardia you have. Visiting with a cardiac electrophysiologist (Heart Rhythm Doctor) is important to help in diagnosis and structuring a good management plan for you.
Many women at menopause time have palpitations and tachycardia. Most are completely harmless and go away. Have a chat with your doctor and see if you can capture one of the tachycardias and see is any treatment is necessary.
