The most common eye findings related to COVID 19 are enlarged, red blood vessels, swollen eyelids, excessive watering, and increased discharge. The infection also might cause light sensitivity and irritation. These symptoms are more common in people with severe infections. There are many reasons to have blurry vision. Some are serious. Please contact your ophthalmologist and over the phone (to start), discuss your symptoms. She will help guide your care and determine whether further evaluation and treatment is needed.
Coronavirus can cause pink eye or a viral conjunctivitis, which typically causes eye redness, burning, and irritation. If you have blurred vision without redness or burning, then it is almost certainly something different.
