Can you chew gum with a crown?

I am a 28 year old male. I want to know if I can chew gum with a crown?

Yes you can definitely chew gum with a permanent crown. With a temporary crown you should be avoid as the temporary cement is just that, temporary.

Yes, you can chew gum. BUT, if the porcelain is rough, the gum will stick to the rough surface. If the crown requires adjustments in the mouth, which is VERY common, the rough surface SHOULD BE POLISHED TO A GLASS LIKE SURFACE.
No problem. Sometimes you might need a crown lengthening procedure.
I would say yes but I have had a few patients over the years say the gum sticks to their crown; however very few!
