Can my 15 year old have water before fluoroscopy? I want to know can you drink water before a fluoroscopy?

Depends. Mostly yes.
It depends on the fluoroscopy exam. For an UGI, generally nothing should taken by mouth for 8 hours prior to the exam. The barium coats the stomach mucosa better and the exam is more diagnostic if the stomach is empty at the start of the exam.
