The joker in this context is the word heavy. What do you mean with that? You should be clear on the matter before seeking out your family doctor. It worries me that it started with a panic attack, because that is something you need to see an experienced psychologist for. S/he will probably be able to make the "heaviness" go away. One thing is clear: you need help.
As you said, acute anxiety can get better or worse without going away. An appropriate Physician or Psychiatrist will be a good choice to find the underlying cause and pursue treatment to help you resolve this issue.
I will ask the Patient about any Past Psychiatric history, like Anxiety, Depression, PTSD. Also, I will ask the Patient about his past medical history like, Asthma, Smoking, Heat issues, PRECORDIAL CATCH SYNDROME, Tachycardia Paroxysmal ventricular. I will do these work up: CBC, CMP, TSH, Lipid panel, EKG, Chest X-ray, Troponin levels, and Creatinine Kinase Lel=vel to rule out Acute cardio-pulmonary issues. Dr. Pierre
