“My mother stopped taking Ecosprin all of a sudden. Could this cause any complications for her?”
My mother is 75 years old and has undergone a bypass surgery when she was 68 years old. Doctor prescribed a blood thinner medication called Ecosprin for her. I just realized she has been skipping her medicine for the last month. Will this cause any complications for her?

It is just Aspirin that she was put on and anyone with coronary disease should be on Aspirin, 81mg daily, unless that has gi blessing or countraindication to be on it. I would just recommend for her to restart it if she does not have any bleeding problem.
