Eyelid twitches or spasms are usually caused by stress, fatigue or caffeine. They usually go away without treatment in a few days or weeks. If they are not improving a complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed.
If the twitching it’s a very small vibration of the eyelid, it is not serious and often related to stress. It would resolve by itself when the stress goes away
Caffeine, stress and poor sleep are the most common causes. You need quiet time, better sleep and stress reduction. It is harmless however and botox can be used successfully in extreme cases
A very common cause of twitching eyelids is an infection in the eyelash oil glands. You should see an Eye MD
It’s usually from not enough sleep, too much caffeine, stress, but occasionally is something more significant
