Conjunctivitis is usually a self-limiting disease that does not require urgent medical care. However, you should seek immediate medical care if symptoms are getting worse or not improving and if you experience pain or sensitivity to light.

If it does not go away, affects your vision, or if you have intense mucus/pus coming out of your eye then you should see a doctor. Otherwise, it will resolve within a few weeks.

Most viral conjunctivitis episodes are self limited, and go away like a common cold. However, if it persists or is getting worse, see an ophthalmologist. SO
It's best to confirm with a doctor
Hello,
The answer is yes! If your conjunctivitis is not resolving on its own over a 48 to 72 hour period you should be seen by your eye doctor.
